It first matured in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels, Port pipes and Matusalem oloroso sherry casks, before being married in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels. Dalmore 35 Years Old 2021 Edition has aromas of roasted coffee, liquorice, orange, molasses, Morello cherries and ginger. The palate brings notes of tangy thick marmalade, spicy ground cinnamon, chocolate cake, roasted chestnuts and raisins, leading to a finish of mango, aged port wine, marinated plums and rich pineapple.
