Dingle Samhain is the first release in the brand-new Wheel of the Year series. The limited-edition bottling is inspired by the spirit of Samhain, the Gaelic festival that marks the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter. The single malt matured in first-fill bourbon casks before a long finish in first-fill Muscatel casks, and is bottled at 50.5% ABV. Dingle Samhain has warm, floral, citrus and cherry aromas on the nose. The palate is zesty with hints of raisins, almonds, sweet spice and raspberry, concluding with a long finish of summer fruits, pepper and cinnamon.
