Diplomático Distillery Collection No.3 Pot Still Rum 2010 is a limited-edition rum from the Diplomático distillery in Venezuela. It is part of the Distillery Collection, which showcases the three distinctive styles produced by the distillery’s different stills. Diplomático’s copper pot still was originally used in Scotland to produce whisky, but was brought to Venezuela in 1959 and produced this rum in June 2010. Diplomático Distillery Collection No.3 Pot Still Rum 2010 matured in American white oak barrels, resulting in a full-bodied and complex spirit. The nose is well-balanced with sweet and fruity aromas of red fruits, sugarcane, toffee, vanilla and honey. The palate offers rich notes of dark chocolate, dried fruits, coffee and oak. The finish is elegant with lingering warm spices.
