It was bottled by the renowned Maison Darroze as part of the Unique Collection, featuring one-of-a-kind Armagnacs from a single terroir, domaine, vintage and bottling date. The Armagnac was distilled in 1975 and matured for 48 years in oak casks. It was bottled in March 2023 at a cask strength of 48%. Domaine De La Poste 48 Years Old Darroze Armagnac 1975 has a very fine, classic nose with light and delicate aromas like vanilla, lime blossom, pear and dried fruits. The same finesse is reflected on the palate, thanks to silky and delicate tannins. Notes of dried fruits, almonds and walnuts round off this rare and old Armagnac.
