Don Julio Reposado Tequila Finished in Lagavulin Casks is a limited-edition reposado tequila (meaning it matured in oak for two months to a year). It was released in 2019 by Don Julio, one of the world’s largest tequila brands, for their Double Cask range. The tequila was distilled at Don Julio’s La Primavera distillery and finished in casks that previously held Lagavulin single malt. The unique expression was created by Don Julio Master Distiller Enrique de Colsa in collaboration with Lagavulin Distillery Manager Colin Gordon.
