Reposado means ‘rested’ in Spanish, and this particular Don Julio Reposado Tequila has had a nice long nap in American white-oak barrels for 8 months. This imparts a smooth, rich character to the tequila as well as a beautiful golden color. Don Julio Reposado was distilled from 100% agave and it has a nose of lemon and ripe stone fruit with a sprinkle of spices. The palate is soft with touches of dark chocolate, vanilla and cinnamon. The finish is warm and smooth with dried fruit, caramel, apple and nuts.
