The iconic Duvel brewery has been a classic Belgian brand since 1871. Duvel is Flemish for ‘Devil’ and while their golden blonde ale is a fantastic drink, the good people at Duvel wondered if they could give it a devilish twist. Taking their famous brew, they distilled it and then aged the distillate for 6 years in bourbon and sherry casks. The result is a Belgian whisky spirit that displays all the passion and skill that characterizes their beer craftsmanship. Duvel 6 Years Old Distilled Limited Edition 2013 has gentle lemon and fresh fruit aromas on the nose. The palate is soft and fruity with a very pleasant vanilla flourish. The finish is zesty and refreshing.
