This Eagle Rare bourbon was distilled at the Old Prentice Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky (today known as Four Roses) and bottled at Seagram’s Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana (the current MGP of Indiana). The fact that both distilleries were located in a city called Lawrenceburg has been creating confusion for many years. Eagle Rare was introduced by Seagram in 1975. Sazerac acquired the brand in 1989 and moved production to their Buffalo Trace Distillery. Eagle Rare Old Prentice 10 Years Old matured in traditional oak casks for 10 years and was bottled at 90 proof for the Italian market. The bottle comes with a beautiful glass decanter and a chic black suitcase – just the special treatment your rare bourbon deserves! The decanter was hand crafted for this bottle uniquely by Cristalleria Europa, an Italian glass artisan that made decanters, glasses and other crystalware. The Italians sure knew how to appreciate good bourbon. Please note that it takes up 3 spaces in a parcel due to its size.
