Ooooh shiney! This single barrel, 10-year-old bottling of the classic Eagle Rare bourbon was selected by the famous French independent bottler La Maison du Whisky. They put a nice silver tube around this release for an extra dazzling effect. The whiskey was distilled at Buffalo Trace and matured in a single barrel for 10 years before being bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV). Eagle Rare bourbon was introduced by Four Roses master distiller Charles L. Beam in 1975. Originally a Seagram brand, Eagle Rare was sold to the Sazerac Company in 1989 and has since been produced by the Buffalo Trace Distillery.
