Eagle Rare Spring 2014 BTAC was released in 2014 as part of the highly-collectible annual Buffalo Trace Antique Collection. This amazing bourbon was bottled in Spring 2014 at 90 proof. Even though the label states it is 17 years old, it actually matured for 19 years. Instead of going to the trouble of registering a new label each year, Buffalo Trace just uses the same one while the age increases. Eagle Rare bourbon was introduced by Four Roses master distiller Charles L. Beam in 1975. Originally a Seagram brand, Eagle Rare was sold to the Sazerac Company in 1989 and has since been produced at the Buffalo Trace Distillery. It is estimated that about 4531 bottles of Eagle Rare Spring 2014 BTAC were released.
