Known as Scotland’s Little Gem, Edradour is the smallest distillery in Scotland. It began like so many Scottish distilleries as a small farm still but unlike other distilleries, it didn’t expand into a giant industrial production centre pumping out gallons and gallons of the good stuff. Nope, Edradour decided to stay small, boutique and unique, with old, traditional small scale equipment dating back to the Victorian era. You won’t see any computers linked up to the equipment here, it’s made by hand and the distillery is even still housed in the original farm buildings. Edradour 10 Years Old Straight From The Cask 2011 Cask #452 was distilled in 2011 and aged for 10 years in sherry butt no. 452. It was bottled straight from the cask in 2022 with a nice bold ABV of 58.9%. There are only 917 bottles of this floating out there and this little hidden gem is not so hidden amongst true whisky fans so it won’t be around for long!
