The Elements of Islay series from independent bottler Elixir Distillers celebrates Islay and the diversity of the island’s whisky. Elements of Islay Sherry Cask is a marriage of sherry casks, characterised by notes of smoked tea, autumn fruit and winter spice. The blended malt brings together dried fruits and dark chocolate from a south coast Islay distillery with Arbroath smokie and lemon oil from the north coast. This release was bottled in 2022 at a robust 54.5%.
