Elephant Strength Gin João is an exceptional hand-crafted gin made with African botanicals. Each batch is named after one of South Africa’s legendary elephants. João was a massive elephant bull with a shoulder height of 340cm. With tusks approaching a length of 250cm and weighing over 60kg each, he was one of the biggest bulls ever found in the Kruger National Park. Elephant Strength Gin João, bottled at 57%, is a powerful gin with a distinctive flavour profile. The gin consists of fourteen botanicals, including rare African ingredients. The botanical focus for this edition is centred around juniper, orange peel, mountain pine and African buchu. The result is a more powerful nose and taste, without losing the silky-smooth character that Elephant London Dry Gin is known for. Each individually numbered bottle is 100% recyclable, with a hand-written label, all-natural cork, plastic-free shrink cap and hand-sealed hemp string around the bottle neck.
