A 1990s bottle of Elmer T. Lee Single Barrel, bottled at 90 proof. The brand was created in honor of bourbon legend Elmer T. Lee, who was Master Distiller at Buffalo Trace and launched the famous Blanton’s brand. This bottle was specially signed by Elmer T. Lee himself at the distillery after he officially retired. He did visit the distillery often though, and signed bottles for distillery visitors. This specific edition was signed for a couple that has amassed an extensive bourbon collection since 1998. This black label Elmer T. Lee 90 Proof was later dubbed the BUB, aka the Butt Ugly Bottle, because of its gorgeous design. Later versions of Elmer T. Lee bourbons came in much prettier glassware. This specific bottle does not come with the outer box.
