Évadé Single Malt is the result of a mariage between whiskies that were double-distilled in a Charentais still and matured for 3 to 5 years in six types of casks: new and old French oak, new American oak, bourbon, cognac, and Burgundy. Released in 2019, it is the first French single malt from the company Whiskies du Monde. Évadé Single Malt is 100% French: it uses barley grown in France, is distilled in a Charentais still (originally designed for distilling cognac), and the bottle’s artistic label shows a map of France as well as the French flag. *Plays the tunes of La Marseillaise*
