Distilled in way back in 1976 (at the pre-fire Heaven Hill Distillery), this collector’s piece was imported to Italy by Orlandi & Co and comes in a stunning glass decanter. The real Evan Williams was a Welsh immigrant to the US who got busy distilling whiskey as soon as he set foot on land. Some people even think his distillery was the first ever commercial distillery in all of Kentucky. It’s hard to know for sure whether this little venture he kicked off in 1783 there on the banks of the Ohio river really was the first, but if the whiskey is good, does it really matter? Evan Williams 7 Years Old Parlor Decanter 1984 was bottled in 1984 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Evan Williams’ first distillation.
