Heaven Hill’s flagship bourbon, Evan Williams, was introduced in 1957. The brand is named after the early whiskey distiller Evan Williams, who founded Kentucky’s first commercial distillery in 1783. Evan Williams 23 Years Old 1969, is an early bottling of the classic 23-year-old expression, created in the late 1980s, for the Japanese market. The bourbon carries a 1969, vintage and was bottled in the early 1990s, at 107 proof. Please note: the wax is not perfect.
