Fettercairn 28 Years Old Murray McDavid Mission Gold 1995 is an exquisite limited-edition single malt from Fettercairn, bottled by renowned independent bottler Murray McDavid as part of the Mission Gold series. The single malt has been skilfully crafted using specially selected cask styles. A finish in Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso sherry and French red wine casks has added a unique dimension to the whisky’s already impressive character. After a total maturation of 28 years, it was bottled in 2024 at 51.2%. Fettercairn 28 Years Old Murray McDavid Mission Gold 1995 is a sophisticated spirit with a powerful and captivating character. Aromas of red fruits, candied ginger and coastal hints are joined by salted caramel, berries and lavender on the palate. The finish lingers on floral malt, nutmeg and gentle spice. Only 667 bottles have been released.
