Filey Bay First Release is the inaugural release from the Spirit of Yorkshire distillery, and Yorkshire’s first single malt whisky. Filey Bay is a field-to-bottle whisky, made with 100% homegrown barley. 16 first-fill bourbon casks were laid down in the spring and summer of 2016. After maturing for over three years, the whisky was bottled at 46% ABV. The intricate design of the bottle brings together the textures of the farm, the soil, the beach and the sky. Filey Bay First Release is a limited edition of only 6000 bottles.
