Foursquare 11 Years Old 2004 Exceptional Cask Selection is a single blended rum from the Foursquare distillery in Barbados, released as part of the Exceptional Cask Selection. A single blended rum is made up of both column and pot still distillate from a single distillery. The rum was distilled in 2004 and matured for 11 years in ex-bourbon casks. It was bottled in September 2015 at a cask strength of 59%. Foursquare is a rum distillery in Barbados, reopened in 1996 by the Seale family. It is located on a former sugar plantation that was founded around 1720. The sugar factory ceased production in the late 1980s, so Foursquare imports most of its molasses from Guyana. The distillery is currently led by Richard Seale, a fourth-generation member of a family that has been in the rum business since 1820.
