The 18th release in Foursquare’s Exceptional Cask Selection is an 11-year-old single blended rum. The rum is a combination of two batches: the first aged fully in ex-bourbon casks. The second first aged for 5 years in ex-Zinfandel wine casks, followed by 6 years in ex-bourbon. Foursquare 11 Years Old Indelible Exceptional Cask Selection has a sweet and fruity nose with well-balanced aromas of plum, dark chocolate, raisins, orange zest, candied pineapple, roasted coconut, vibrant vanilla and light oak. The palate is rich and zesty with sweet fruity notes of orange, dark cherries, figs, raisins, dark chocolate, banana, brown sugar, gentle vanilla, oak and a touch of cinnamon. The finish is long and warming with lingering black pepper, coconut, orange zest and rich oak.
