Foursquare 14 Years Old Nobiliary Exceptional Cask Selection is a powerful and elegant single blended rum, with notes of black pepper, chocolate, ginger and licorice. Foursquare 14 Years Old Nobiliary Exceptional Cask Selection was released in December 2019 as part of the Exceptional Cask Selection range. The rum is a blend of pot and column distillates. It matured for 14 years in ex-bourbon casks, before being bottled at 62%. The Foursquare distillery in Barbados was reopened in 1996 by the Seale family. It is located on a former sugar plantation that was founded around 1720. The sugar factory ceased production in the late 1980s, so Foursquare imports most of its molasses from Guyana. The distillery is currently led by Richard Seale, a fourth-generation member of a family that has been in the rum business since 1820.
