Foursquare was reopened in 1996 after ceasing sugar production in the 1980s. The new revamped distillery is led by Richard Seale, a fourth generation rum guy with a proud pedigree of rum production in his family stretching back to 1820. This 15-year-old Barbados rum was aged in a Sauternes barrel and bottled by the Daily Dram. Foursquare 15 Years Old Sauternes Barrel Daily Dram 2006 has a nose of vanilla and a light dusting of spices. The palate also shows vanilla and spice with creamy butterscotch while the finish is rich and long.
