Foursquare was founded by the Seale family in the mid-1990s. This family has quite a rum pedigree, having operated one of Barbados’ oldest rum trading houses since 1820. Five generations later here they are turning out top-notch rum from Barbados which has attracted the attention of the Polish independent bottlers Wealth Solutions. They knew they were on to a good thing here and they bottled up this Foursquare 22 Years Old The Colours Of Rum Edition 15 2006 as part of their ‘The Colours of Rum’ series. Each rum bottle in this series adopts the colours of the origin country’s flag, which makes for a super colourful collection! This rum was aged for 15 years in American White Oak & Ex-Bourbon cask number 9. 14 of those years were in the tropics. Inside this colourful bottle you’ll find notes of citrus, toffee, chocolate and caramel. The single cask only produced 276 bottles so this won’t be around for long.
