A single cask rum from the Foursquare distillery on Barbados, released for The Colours of Rum. The rum was distilled in 2005 and matured in bourbon cask #111 for 15 years. It was bottled in February 2021 at a cask strength of 59.1%. The Colours of Rum is a wide range of premium single cask rum bottlings, created in 2021 by the Polish company Wealth Solutions. The design of each bottle is inspired by the colors of the country’s flag, resulting in a colorful range of rums from, among others, Jamaica, Barbados, and Trinidad. Foursquare is a rum distillery on Barbados, reopened in 1996 by the Seale family. It is located on a former sugar plantation that was founded around 1720. The sugar factory ceased production in the late 1980s, so Foursquare imports most of its molasses from Guyana. The distillery is currently led by Richard Seale, a fourth-generation member of a family that has been in the rum business since 1820. Only 272 bottles of Foursquare 2009 The Colors Of Rum Edition 2 have been released.
