A 50-year-old Glen Grant single malt from the renowned independent bottler Gordon & Macphail? Yes please! This rare beauty was distilled all the way back on 28 October 1963 and matured in first-fill sherry butt #5178 for over 50 years. On 27 February 2014 it was bottled by Gordon & Macphail at 40% ABV. The bottle has the traditional Glen Grant label, used by the distillery in the 1960s. A 50-year-old single malt whisky: just imagine that cask, slowly maturing, waiting for the right whisky lover to appreciate this piece of beauty.
