Glen Grant 64 Years Old Mr George Legacy Second Edition 1957-2021 is the second release in the Mr George Legacy series from Gordon & MacPhail, dedicated to George Urquhart, the pioneer who made Gordon & MacPhail—and single malt as a whole—into what it is today. This exceptional single malt was distilled at Glen Grant in 1957 and aged for 64 years in first-fill sherry butt #3483. It was bottled in 2021 at a cask strength of 56.1%. On the nose, rich fruitcake aromas intertwine with cinnamon and ginger. Flavours of Morello cherry, red apple, dried tobacco and garden mint develop on the palate. The finish is full-bodied with hints of forest fruits and charred oak. One of 298 bottles. Please note that it takes up two spaces in a parcel.
