La Maison du Whisky introduced their Artist Collective range in 2017. This annual limited-edition range reflects the diversity in the world of Scotch by including a wide variety of styles, maturations and regions. The abstract paintings on the labels for the 2022 edition were created by Yanis Khannoussi. Glen Ord 9 Years Old Artist Collective 2012 is made up of six first-fill bourbon barrels. This fresh and floral dram has balanced aromas of pear, watercress, walnuts, vanilla, cut hay, orange blossom and hyacinth on the nose. The palate is lively, starting out with spicy notes of star anise, nutmeg and clove. Flavours of herbs, pear, apple, citrus fruits, vanilla and menthol then come to the fore. The finish is long and velvety with herbs and honeyed softness.
