Glenallachie 17 Years Old Masters of Wood 2024 is an exceptional Speyside single malt from Glenallachie. This flavourful single malt unites some of the most spectacular casks in the distillery’s inventory. Master Distiller Billy Walker has combined rare Japanese Mizunara oak casks with superior Oloroso puncheons and hogsheads. The result is an incredibly indulgent and complex whisky. Aromas of heather honey, dried orange peel and crystallised ginger are complemented by cocoa, toasted tobacco leaves and fresh vanilla pods. On the palate, baking spices and grilled honeycomb are followed by bursts of rich cocoa, poached cinnamon apples and fig syrup, with pecans and demerara sugar on the finish.
