Glenallachie First Cask 12 Years Old 2008 is a single malt from the Speyside distillery GlenAllachie, released by the Dutch bottler Whisky Import Nederland as part of their First Cask series. The whisky was distilled in 2008 and matured in a Sherry Butt for 12 years. It was bottled in 2020 at a cask strength of 57.8%. The label features a painting of the GlenAllachie distillery in the style of Dutch master Vincent van Gogh. The GlenAllachie distillery was established in 1967. Invergordon Distillers bought the distillery in 1985 and closed it only two years later. Campbell Distillers acquired GlenAllachie in 1989 and restarted production. In 2017, the distillery was sold to The GlenAllachie Consortium led by Master Distiller Billy Walker, who breathed new life into the distillery. Only 350 bottles of Glenallachie First Cask 12 Years Old 2008 have been released.
