Glenfarclas 17 Years Old Cadenhead’s Shop Campbeltown is a 17-year-old single malt from the Speyside distillery Glenfarclas. It was released in 2020 by Cadenhead as part of their Annual Shop Release range; this whisky was specially bottled for Cadenhead’s Whisky Shop in Campbeltown. Yes, this Speyside beauty made it into the hard of the competition. And look at the label , rocking that Campbeltown shop! It was distilled in 2003 and finished in a first-fill sherry hogshead for three years. After a total maturation of 17 years it was bottled at a cask strength of 52.3%. Only 270 bottles of Glenfarclas 17 Years Old Cadenhead’s Shop Campbeltown were released. The Glenfarclas distillery was founded at the end of the 18th century. In 1865, it was bought by John Grant and his son George. More than 150 years later, the distillery is still run by the Grant family!
