Glenfarclas has remained in the hands of the same family for 5 generations, and today it is one of the only Scottish distilleries that is still privately owned. And thanks to the foresight of George S Grant, who built up the distillery’s stocks while he was in charge, Glenfarclas has a range of whiskies in their warehouse that stretches back over 80 years! Their Family Malt Collection taps into this incredible store of whisky, with the series originally available only in Spain. Glenfarclas 9 Years Old 2007 The Family Malt Collection has a nose that is quite full with prunes, licorice, fresh herbs, red fruits and cinnamon. The palate brings ripe apples, orange, grapefruit and honey. The finish is crisp with oak and honey.
