Glenfarclas Heritage 60 Cask Strength is a rare Glenfarclas single malt, bottled at a natural cask strength of 60% for The Heritage Malt Collection. The Heritage range is released for a select number of markets, mainly France. The whisky matured in a combination of first-fill European oak sherry, refill European oak sherry, and refill American oak casks. The nose is soft and fruity with hints of red fruit, sherry, cinnamon and spicy oak. At an ABV of 60%, the whisky is powerful with an oily palate and notes of chocolate, red fruit, coffee, tannic oak and spices. The finish is equally intense with lots of fruit, chocolate and spices. The bottle comes in a handsome wooden presentation box.
