The Speyside distillery Glenfarclas has been in the hands of the Grant family for over 150 years, making it one of the last truly independent distilleries in Scotland. Glenfarclas Private Reserve 2021 aged in the finest oak casks. This limited-edition release of 9990 bottles was bottled in April 2021 exclusively for the French market. On the nose, Glenfarclas Private Reserve 2021 is initially fruity and sweet with aromas of cherry, citrus, hazelnut and caramel. Allowed to breathe, it offers floral and malty notes. The palate is lively and creamy with well-balanced flavours of heather honey, ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon and dried fruits. The palate is long with a hint of spice.
