Glenfarclas The Family Cask 1973-2011 Cask #2598 is a bottling of sherry butt #2598, distilled in 1973. The whisky matured for 38 years, before being bottled on 13 October 2011 at 56.5%. Glenfarclas is one of the last family-owned distilleries in Scotland. It has been in the hands of the Grant family for over 150 years! The Family Casks celebrates this unique heritage. Launched in 2007, the series consists of single casks whiskies with vintages ranging from the 1950s to the early 2000s. Only 456 bottles of Glenfarclas The Family Cask 1973-2011 Cask #2598 have been released.
