Glenfiddich 12 Years Old Caoran Reserve is a peaty Glenfiddich single malt. Caoran, from the Gaelic for peat ember, has a distinct peatiness and a lingering, smoky finish. Glenfiddich was founded in 1886 by whisky legend William Grant. The distillery’s name comes from the Gaelic word for ‘valley of the deer’, which is why the Glenfiddich logo is a stag. Today, Glenfiddich is still in the hands of William Grant & Sons and it is managed by the fifth generation of William Grant’s descendants.
