When William Grant rounded up his 9 children in 1887 to help him build his Glenfiddich distillery, he couldn’t have known just how successful his venture would be. These days it is the world’s most awarded malt and it is a household name. In fact the name Glenfiddich comes from the Gaelic word for ‘valley of the deer.’ Glenfiddich 21 Years Old 130th Anniversary 1994 was bottled for the 130th Anniversary of the distillery. It was distilled back in 1994 and aged for 21 years in cask no. 11 before being hand selected by malt master Brian Kinsman. There’s plenty to celebrate here but with a super limited run of only 96 bottles you better grab one quick or you’ll miss the party.
