Glenfiddich 40 Years Old Rare Collection 2000 is an exceptionally rare and well-matured single malt from Glenfiddich, released in 2000 as the inaugural bottling in the Rare Collection series. This expression was hand-selected by Glenfiddich’s Malt Master from some of the oldest and rarest Glenfiddich vintage stocks, and was bottled on 23 October 2000 at a natural cask strength of 43.6%. The whisky is rich, with a sweet character and hints of peat and spice. This is one of only 600 individually numbered bottles, and comes in a stunning wooden presentation case.
