In 2013, the limited-edition Glenglassaugh 30 Years Old was the first expression to be released by the distillery’s new owners The BenRiach Distillery Company. The whisky matured for over 30 years in Glenglassaugh’s coastal warehouses and is bottled at 44.8%. Glenglassaugh 30 Years Old is a rich and complex dram, with elegant sherry notes complemented by luscious fruits and oak spice. On the nose you’ll find rich aromas of tropical fruits, sultanas, sherry and gentle oak spice. The palate is sweet and soft with well-balanced flavours of mango, orange, figs and sweet sultanas, followed by a wave of sherry, toffee and ginger oak spice. The finish is warm, soft and gently spiced. The bottle comes in the original box.
