This sherry hogshead matured vintage 1968 whisky is the pinnacle of Glenglassaugh whisky making. It survived the blend frenzy that was set in motion during the days of Edrington, which owned the distillery from 1986 until 2008. This cask, with number 1601, was untouched since it was laid to rest in 1968. It was bottled in 2014, a year after BenRiach had acquired the brand and distillery. Only 349 bottles saw daylight.
