Ancient Highland whisky makers used to dry their barley with all kinds of forest fuel. Glenmorangie A Tale Of The Forest is a limited-edition release, crafted according to this ancient method. The barley has been kilned using juniper berries, birch bark and heather blossom, married with a little peat. The whisky was then aged in bourbon casks, including many refill casks, allowing the spirit’s flavours to shine. The result is a unique single malt that is as lush and leafy as the forest itself, with rare aromas of pine needles and juniper, laced with wisps of smoke. On the palate, notes of eucalyptus, mint, bitter orange and distant smoke drift to a gentle oaky finish. Glenmorangie A Tale Of The Forest is presented in an eye-catching technicolour box designed by illustrator Pomme Chan.
