Hampden 5 Years Old Magnum Series #1 is a limited-edition pot still rum from the Hampden distillery in Jamaica, released by La Maison du Whisky and Velier in collaboration with the renowned international photographic agency Magnum Photos. The rum was distilled in 2016 and aged in the tropics for 5 years, before being bottled in 2021 at 60%. It comes in a pretty big 1.5L bottle. The first edition of the Magnum Series pays homage to the world-famous American photographer Elliott Erwitt, who was born in Paris in 1928 to Jewish-Russian immigrant parents and served as president of Magnum Photos for three terms. The label features Erwitt’s 1954 photograph of Coney Island in New York. Please note: this wopper of a 1.5L bottle takes up two spaces in a parcel.
