The Springbank distillery launched their Hazelburn single malt with a special First Edition release in 2005. Hazelburn First Edition is an unpeated and triple distilled single malt. It matured for 8 years and was bottled in 2005 at 46% ABV. Three versions of Hazelburn First Edition were released: each label has a different painting showing a part of the distilling process – in this case the distillery’s stills. Pretty picture! 5100 bottles of Hazelburn 8 Years Old Triple Distilled were released in total, 1700 for each label. Please note: the box has seen some wear and tear over the years.
