The first 1996 Heaven Hill release by the Scottish indy bottler Cadenhead matured for a whopping 23 years. Only 132 bottles were released. Cadenhead (founded in 1842, it is Scotland oldest indpendent bottler) describes the palate as follows: ‘Orange pulp, almond oil, white chocolate mice’. We repeat: white chocolate mice!
