Way beyond… This 10-year-old Old Heaven Hill was still distilled in the old Heaven Hill distillery during the late seventies , before the fire destroyed it all in 1996, taken 90.000 barrels of whiskey with it… That was two percent of the world’s bourbon supply at the time! But by that time, this particular gem of a bourbon was already waiting in its square bottle, waiting for you, being part of the remaining 98 percent. It says on the label: ‘Distilled & bottled in the heart of the bourbon country, home of master craftsmen whose distilling skill has been passed on through five generations’. Old news: the sixth generation is making whiskey these days.
