The Vikings are back to raid your whisky shelf! Highland Park 15 Years Old Freya Valhalla Collection is named after the Viking goddess of fertility, wealth, love and war. That’s quite a large portfolio! Freya sails over to us in this lovely little longboat stand after being aged for 15 years in first-fill bourbon casks. It forms part of Highland Park’s Valhalla Collection which also contains whiskies dedicated to Thor, Loki and Odin. Freya has a nose of coconut, gentle oak, lemon and nutmeg. The palate is woody with light smoke, spice, honey, toffee and gingerbread. The finish has a light fruit note with lemon and smoke. Please note: it takes up two spaces in a parcel.
