Highland Park 19 Years Old For LMDW 1983 Cask #1094 is a limited-edition single malt from the northernmost distillery in Scotland, bottled for La Maison du Whisky. Sherry butt #1094 was filled on 10 May 1983 and aged for nearly two decades. It was bottled on 9 October 2002 at 56.8%. The nose is sherried with aromas of Cuban cigars, leather, camphor and subtle peat against a delicate floral background. On the palate, you’ll find flavours of toasted malted barley, liquorice and a sherry softness that evolves to a mellow gingerbread. Hints of damp undergrowth, leather and peat linger on the finish.
