Highland Park 32 Years Old Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice 1989 is a single cask whisky from the Highland Park distillery, bottled by renowned independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail for the Connoisseurs Choice range. The whisky was distilled in 1989 and aged in refill sherry butt #10015 for 32 years. It was bottled on 13 December 2021 at a cask strength of 51.9%. The Connoisseurs Choice was introduced in 1968 by Mr George Urquhart to showcase single malts. At that time, whisky was mostly used for blends and single malt bottlings were rarely seen. This pioneering range has since featured more than 2000 bottlings from nearly 100 Scottish distilleries, all of them rare and one-of-a-kind. Highland Park 32 Years Old Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice 1989 displays aromas of dark cherry, pressed apples, nutmeg and subtle smoke. On the palate you’ll find sweet fruitcake flavours followed by butterscotch and a hint of garden mint. The finish is medium to long with lingering fruit and spice notes. Only 347 bottles have been released. Please note: it takes two spaces in a parcel.
