A 1960s bottle of Hiram Walker Imperial Blended Whiskey, produced by the Canadian spirits giant Hiram Walker at their distillery in Peoria, Illinois. The whiskey matured for at least 5 years and is bottled at 86 proof. According to the bottle code, it was bottled in or around 1964. Hiram Walker opened the distillery in Peoria after Prohibition ended. At the time, it was the largest distillery in the world! The Peoria distillery stopped making whiskey in 1981, when it was taken over by ADM and switched to producing ethanol.
