This vintage bottling of I.W. Harper 12 Years Old was bottled at 0.75cl and comes in a spiffy sliding box that slides open upwards. The I.W. Harper brand was created in 1879 by German immigrants Isaac and Bernard Bernheim. ‘I.W.’ were Isaac’s initials, but the brothers decided to choose a more American surname for the brand. In the 1980s, Schenley decided to discontinue I.W. Harper for the domestic market, and for over 30 years the bourbon was produced solely for the Japanese market.
